One of my better drawings of Gwynnie. I like the marks in this and the light was right. A few more of my tiny watercolors. Time to paint something a little larger.

A couple of pastels from life drawing. The first, someone commented that he liked the parts that weren't blended. So, on the second, I blended nada to see how it would look. I still like the first better. Not all that well drawn but...The watercolour is 2.5 by 3.5 inches, painted on an artists trading card. I didn't feel like starting an oil so I got out the watercolor. I'm painting bigger all the time...Here is another tiny watercolor added 01.15.09. I was thinking these might look good because they are so small, It is harder to overwork them?

Jessica was modeling and Kara showed up and was nice enough to do a couple of poses. I'm still fooling around with the sanguine and white conte. Not perfect as usual but some nice light.

conte on newsprint. Gwynnie and Matt...Using the side of the crayon and trying to make it work....Messed up the proportions, nothing new. I like how she turned out...
