over two years since I posted anything.

Here is something recently completed. 20x16 oil on canvas.

Some paintings from a workshop with Craig Nelson at the Knowlton Gallery in Lodi, CA. Quick painting was the theme with twenty minute to one hour poses.

I guess I haven't been keeping up but here are some newer works. The first is a painting from a reference, the second is a painting from the Muse, third was started at Bruce's and just recently worked on and almost complete. The last is a drawing from the Muse.

stuff

Here is an oil painting that I had previously done but have changed it around a bit. I've also included a page of sketches from life drawing. The one larger part of this is a 20 minute piece in which I ended up with a lot of left over paper. I didn't care for the next pose so I drew parts of it and included a sucky portrait from a dvd cover.

Muse Mary etc.

a pen and ink drawing of Mary from the muse open sessions and a pastel of Russian damsel Daria.
